For biotic defects, in the cases study presented in fungal colonization section, it is important to identify fungal species regarding their area of infection and pathogenicity to their host. Also, their invasiveness should be understood to make appropriate mitigation measures.

For the abiotic defects, despite several researches tried to formulate a threshold level for identifying tree risk such as cavity size, it is difficult apply in actual site condition with other factors involved. This implies limitation of experimental set-up to reveal actual situation.

Finally, apart from visual tree assessment, advanced tree detection methods were introduced. It helps arborists to assess internal condition that cannot be inspected through visual tree assessment. However, it requires skill for interpretation of data and understanding of its limitation.

In conclusion, tree is a dynamic object that change with time and space. There is lots of scientific research and theory that need to be studied and reviewed. As a tree assessor, one must remember always critical review and analyze available information and not just stick to conventional beliefs especially those with weak argument.
